Subject: BSYFC Year 1 Football Festival : - Well played
Dear Schools,
Can I just say a massive thanks to you all. The children were absolutely fantastic at the festival you should all be so proud of them. The whole event was played exactly in the manner we hoped for. The smiles, excitement, cheers, fair play and respect from all the children was a joy to be seen. They were all winners on the day.
I would like to thank all the schools for making the coaches Matt, Jason and myself welcome into your schools. It was certainly a pleasure to coach all your wonderful Year 1 children.
Some parents were asking about photographs. The main photographer was called Matt Webb, who said he would make a small charge for photographs and this money would then be given to support the nominated charity of the West of England MS Therapy Centre. His e-mail is matt.webb3@tesco.net
However he is going on holiday on Wednesday and will be back on June 29th.
Also we had a lot of interest on the day about joining the BSYFC football club. We are starting a new U7 team and we now have the manager in place to run the team. If any Year 1 children (and not those just at the festival) are interested in playing football then please contact Gunnar Moran 01179096557 or just e-mail myself and we will sort that out for them. Hopefully you will know by now that we are a club who are interested in all children (boys and girls) of any skill level.
Once again many thanks for supporting the event and please thank the children for me on being fantastic and a joy to coach .......... I really mean it.
Martin BSYFC
